class TcpClient#

Framed TCP client used to send plot messages to the local Dash process.

Messages use a four-byte, network-byte-order length prefix so the receiver can recover message boundaries from TCP. The first payload byte identifies binary data or JSON control frames.

Public Functions

TcpClient(std::string_view host, std::string_view port)#

Constructor.

Parameters:

  • host – The host for the TCP connection.

  • port – The port for the TCP connection.

void start()#

Start the TCP connection.

void send(std::string_view msg)#

Send one length-prefixed message over TCP.

Parameters:

msg – The message to send.

void stop()#

Stop the TCP connection.
